Privacy Policy

ACP Billing is built so that your law practice data stays on your devices and in accounts you control. This policy explains what information is handled by this website, by the ACP Billing app, and by the optional Google Drive connection.
Who we are
ACP Billing is timekeeping and voucher-preparation software for New York criminal defense attorneys, available for Mac, iPhone, and iPad. It is made by SageNova Legal Tech LLC ("we" or "us"). Questions about this policy can be sent to KevinGuntherEsq@gmail.com.
This website
ACPBillingApp.com is a static informational site. It does not use advertising trackers or analytics scripts, and it does not set cookies for browsing the site. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested in order to serve and protect the site.
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include in your message and use it only to respond to you.
The ACP Billing app
Your case, client, time-entry, and voucher data is stored locally on your device. If you enable Apple iCloud sync, that data is synchronized between your devices through your own Apple account, under Apple's terms and privacy practices. ACP Billing does not operate a central database of your practice data and does not have access to the contents of your matters.
Legal reference material in the app is used on your device to help you look up statutes and review charges. It is not used to track you.
Optional Google Drive connection
You may choose to connect a Google Drive destination so ACP Billing can save documents you generate. When you do, Google asks you to authorize access limited to files the app creates or opens, along with the email address of the Google account, so you can confirm which account is connected.
To complete that authorization, a small relay service on this website passes a short-lived authorization code from Google back to the app. The code is encrypted while held and expires within ten minutes. The relay does not receive or store your Gmail content, access tokens, refresh tokens, or the contents of your Drive files. Access tokens are held only within the app on your device.
You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from the app, or revoke ACP Billing's access from your Google account permissions page.
Information we do not collect
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.
- We do not use your practice data to train models or build profiles.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices and rights
Because your data lives on your devices and in your own Apple and Google accounts, you control it directly. You can delete the app's data by removing the app, manage iCloud data through your Apple account settings, and manage Drive files and app access through your Google account. If you believe we hold any personal information about you, you may ask us to confirm, correct, or delete it by emailing the address above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the date at the top. Continued use of the website or the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
